These rules are in place to ensure that attendees and staff alike have a good time. Bringing a positive attitude will give the LAN a great atmosphere and enhance everyone’s experience!
Internet:
The internet connection at our events is shared between all attendees and so to ensure that it runs as smoothly as possible, we actively monitor network traffic for signs of illegal Peer to Peer / Torrent downloading or excessive bandwidth usage. If you are found to be attempting this a member of staff will ask you to cease downloading. Failure to do so will result in you being ejected from the event.
Although we have a LAN cache providing steam games and patches, please try to ensure that your games are up to date before you arrive. If you have a particularly large file, or are unsure on the item you wish to download simply grab a member of staff and they will be happy to assist.

Alcohol:
We permit participants over the age of 18 to bring alcohol to our events, however we do kindly ask our attendees not to bring too much, or go too overboard with the drinking. There is also a bar available at the venue if you do not wish to bring your own alcohol.

Anyone found to be too intoxicated, or that poses a hazard to others will be ejected from the event. As a participant you will be liable and charged for any damage caused to the venue, event equipment or other participants possessions.

Night Time:
We ask our attendees to keep the noise to a minimum after 23:00 due to other attendees sleeping, as well as surrounding neighbours. Anyone being noisy or disruptive after this time will be cautioned and asked to stop. Repeated requests after this time will result in you being ejected from the event.

Rubbish:
Our aim is to keep our events as tidy as possible. We therefore provide several bins throughout the main hall and kitchen which are split into General Waste, Recycling, and Glass. Please try to keep your computer area as tidy as possible for the benefit of those around you, and place your rubbish in the correct bin so that it can be disposed of properly – to cut down on excessive waste at the end of the event.

If you are unsure which bin an item belongs in, please ask a member of staff.

Respect the staff:
Our event staff and admins are here to ensure that participants have a memorable time, and that the event runs as smoothly as possible. They are always available for any queries or issues you may have and will do their best to help. In the unlikely event that a member of staff needs to make a request, caution or warn you for any reason; please pay attention and respect their instructions.

Abuse towards attendees, staff or anyone else will not be tolerated and will result in being ejected from the event.

Being ejected from the event:
Failure to comply with the above rules may result in you being ejected from the event. You will not be refunded for your ticket or any other associated costs, and you may be liable for any damages or costs incurred as a result of being ejected from the event.
